Client: Lisa Weinert

Brief: Site needed to serve as a central hub for Lisa’s literary consulting practice, with registration and payment processing for her proprietary live online Narrative Healing sessions and Literary Mastermind groups.

Creative Approach: The site makes use of text to paint the narrative rather than images. Photographs are using sparingly to add texture and context to the writing, to make viewing the site more like reading a book. The text is given space to breathe and images are either in black and white with a warm tone, with a few color images, all framed by hand-made borders, giving the pages a warm, relaxed feel. Pages also feature supporting testimonials, prominent yet not overbearing. I also created custom buttons and thematic backgrounds using vintage flower etchings, some overlayed with the site’s soft lavender accent color. Title font is Alegrya-Sans, body text is Aktiv Grotesk.
